E oltre allo smantellamento del 41 bis, inizia a emergere anche il pericolo di uno svuotamento delle risorse umane, economiche e tecnologiche delle forze di polizia. Fino a eccessi assolutamente incomprensibili. I circa 40 membri della “catturandi” che nel 2006, dopo mesi di appostamenti, infiltrazioni, indagini, arrestarono Bernardo Provenzano nelle campagne di Corleone non si sono ancora visti riconoscere le centinaia di ore di straordinari (5 euro lorde all’ora) che hanno consentito quell’arresto. E non è un caso che proprio in queste settimane i sindacati di polizia stiano organizzando manifestazioni e iniziative contro i tagli proposti dal governo. Paradossalmente il decreto sicurezza e la politica del “braccio di ferro” strillata dal governo Berlusconi nasconderebbe, nei fatti, la resa dello Stato dopo anni di risultati formidabili. Ottenuti e poi dispersi sull’altare dei tagli alla spesa pubblica.
