Claudia Bastianelli
Until a few years ago, my area was pretty anonymous as far as regards
bad examples and behaviors of society. I grew up with the
photograph of many men and women from the culture of the left who profoundly
Sunday, however, did not give up going to Mass and for which the values \u200b\u200bof Catholicism were
basic foundation of their education. In my memory I only
pictures of families together, where terms such as divorce or violence were seen
away, referring to the big cities, are not allowed in a provincial society
perhaps, but serene. Over the past two days, however, the titles of
regional newspapers are proving as it has changed everything, everything
has evolved differently, everything is lost. Yesterday: the Umbria region in Italy for the first
requests for cancellation by the court
church weddings. Today: first the Umbria region in Italy for what
regards violence against women. What happens? Perhaps the Umbrian spouses have suddenly discovered
less bigoted towards divorce and have understood that a marriage
can also conclude, however, are not yet able to give
blessing of the Church? Perhaps the violence have always existed, but today
women have the courage to denounce it more independent economically,
less linked to "who knows what people say and more
assisted by associations and institutions? What is certain is that I never imagined that Umbria,
just under one million inhabitants, many small towns, lots of good people,
would succeed in the unenviable record of being on top
regions populated by millions of people in the violence. Women are probably
always the weak link in the report, but the fact that ci sia rispetto per il
affetto, piena di colori dove il rosso delle bandiere was at the side of the white candles
, where women were, unfortunately, only mothers and women of
home, but where respect for every human being ranked first in the scale
values.
